Beschreibung: 2 originale Kesselpauken aus der Zeit Johann Sebastian Bachs. Vergleichbare Modelle sind in der Wiener Hofburg und in der Thomaskirche zu Leipzig ausgestellt. Der Kessel ist aus Kupfer; die Montierungen sind aus Eisen; Schraubenköpfe aus Messing. Ein Fell hat ein kleines Loch. Sehr guter, authentischer Zustand. Falls sie professionell bespielt werden sollen (sie klingen auch jetzt sehr imposant) müssten sie restauriert werden!
2 original timpani from the time of Johann Sebastian Bach. Comparable models are exhibited in the Vienna Hofburg and St. Thomas Church in Leipzig. The boiler is made of copper, and the mounts are made of iron, brass screw heads. A drum has a small hole. Good and authentic condition. If they are to be played professionally (they sound very impressive even now) they would have to be restored!
